The Vizsla is
also called the Hungarian Pointer. At the end of World War I, the Vizsla
was all but extinct. The importation of the breed into the United
States began in the 1950s. The breed was admitted into the American
Kennel Club in 1960.
To become a member of the CVC, you must be sponsored.
We have 3 types of membership available:
Family - $30/yr
Single - $25/yr
Subscription - $20/yr
All membership types include a subscription to the CVC Newsletter
(published quarterly). The Family & Single subscriptions entitles
applicants to a voice in all Club policies and a vote in all Club
elections (2 votes for Family). Subscription type does not allow any
voting privileges.
The Club year runs from January through December.
